The Pacific Scientific Electro Kinetics Division (PS/EKD) located in Carpinteria, California, is a leading manufacturer of highly specialized alternator and generator systems and associated electronics for:

• Main aircraft power
• Auxiliary power  
• Emergency power generators
• Dedicated power for FADEC & ignition systems

Additionally, PS/EKD offers Detection and Suppression products which detect and extinguish fires and explosions in military vehicle applications - as well as Joslyn antenna arresters (formerly Joslyn Electronic Systems products) which provide protection from lightning strikes for antenna couplers and associated communication equipment for most commercial and military aircraft.

PS/EKD has supplied hardware for military and commercial programs including:

PS/EKD has the capability to design from specification, fabricate from drawings and perform qualification of hardware within the Carpinteria facility.
