MANDATORY
CHANGES
In the event either the FAA issues an Airworthiness Directive affecting
the design and/or operation of the EKD products and which is directly
attributive to the products specified herein, or EKD initiates a
mandatory Campaign Change requiring that a product be replaced by
a different product or reworked as a result of a defect in the product,
EKD will, at its election and expense, either repair or replace
all new and unused spare parts made obsolete by such directive or
change. EKD also agress to pay all reasonable surface transportation
charges for the return of any such products.
BUY-BACK
EXCEPTION
EKD is not obligated to repurchase spare parts which have become
obsolete or unusable, or have been superseded by other parts as
a result of:
a) Changes in customer's fleet utilization and operations.
b) Revisions to customer's maintenance and overhaul policies and
practices or directives of governmental agencies not attributable
to EKD's design.
c) EKD's design improvements, except for spare parts which have
become obsolete because of a defect in design.

EMERGENCY
OPERATIONS
A 24-hour emergency telephone service is available on 805-882-2006.
EKD will advise of action taken in emergency situations within the
time periods specified below:
AOG - Aircraft on Ground - 4 Hours
CRITICAL - Imminent AOG - 24 Hours
EXPEDITE - Under Standard LTM - 7 Days

RETURNS
The products contained in this Catalog are not repairable. Parts
otherwise authorized for return should be shipped, freight pre-paid
to:

Attention: Product Support
All returned
hardware must include documentation listing the following information
as a minimum:
- Engine model number and serial number
- Flight hours when removed
- Reason for return/cause of removal
Failure by
the customer to provide this information will impede the evaluation
process and delay the return of the hardware.
