WARRANTY
EKD warrants that at the time of delivery, product specified herein,
and sold to customers as spares will be:
a) In conformity with design specifications, drawings,
descriptions and part numbers applicable,
and
b) Suitable for the purpose expressly set forth in
such specifications, drawings, descriptions
and part numbers.
c) Warranted for twenty-four (24) months and/or
2,500 flight hours, whichever occurs first,
from the date of receipt of the product
by customer.
CORRECTIVE
ACTION
During the warranty period, or when the product is within the warranty
limits, EKD agrees to the following terms and conditions:
a) Repair or replace or grant 100% refund credit,
at EKD's election, on those units found
to be defective or non-conforming.
b) In case the product purchased as a spare
part is rendered obsolete due to a Campaign
Change because of a mandatory design change
made by EKD relating directly to any product
or part

thereof
supplied by EKD, the following will apply:
i. 100% Parts "Credit Allowance"
will be granted
by EKD for product in inventory or
removed from service if product or part
thereof has less than 1,000 flight hours
total time.
ii. 50% Parts Credit Allowance will be granted
by EKD for product in inventory or
removed from service with over 2,500 flight
hours since new, regardless of warranty
status.
c) Replacement parts will have the same warranty
as new spare parts
CONDITIONS/LIMITATIONS
For purposes of this warranty, a "failure" shall mean
breakage of the product, malfunction of the product, or injury to
the product rendering it unserviceable, if it has been determined
that such breakage, injury or failure to function has not been caused
because said component or part:
1. Has been improperly installed or maintained by
customer, or
2. Has been stored or used contrary to the Operation
and Maintenance instructions or
